Do you love the UK motoring show Top Gear? Do you think Jeremy Clarkson is a loud-mouthed boor but you can't help but like him anyway the best presenter ever? Do you want to run your fingers through James May's hair, or do you want to take a pair of scissors to it? Is Richard Hammond the possessor of hedgehog hair cutest thing on two legs? This community is for the discussion of anything related to Top Gear or its presenters. Everything is welcome: fic (het, gen, slash); picspams; art and/or graphics; links to squee; discussions about the presenters' other shows or newspaper columns and probably anything else you would like to post here.

PLEASE NOTE: Slashiness is not the point of the community, but be aware that we are slash-friendly! If you are under the age of majority in your respective country, please find your fun elsewhere. If you are not comfortable with homosexuality, you can use our tags to filter as each entry will be clearly marked. Flaming of or spouting off about 'teh gay' will result in a quick trip to the Land of Bannination, population you. We have zero tolerance for that here.

Rules of posting:

• Please do not post ANY personal information, including in photos and graphics. If there is personal info such as a street address, phone number, or license plate number, please blur it out before posting. This applies to both your own or anyone else's personal info.
• Please put all pictures and graphics behind an lj-cut. You may post three icons as teasers, but any more than that must go under a cut.
• If your post is long enough that you have to scroll to read it, please put it behind an lj-cut.
• Please lock all posts containing media files of any kind to prevent our members from getting in trouble with various licensers/licensees.
• Please be polite and respect the fact that people may hold different opinions than you do. Flaming or other uncalled-for rudeness will get you banned.
• If you are posting about the current season of any show (up to one month after final episode to allow people in other regions to catch up), please put any spoilers behind an lj-cut and clearly mark it as containing spoilers.
• This comm is fully aware that the presenters have wives and children, that Richard did indeed have a terrible accident, and that the Stig is quite obviously human. There is no need to warn for these facts, however, please use the appropriate tags so that people can avoid things they don't like reading about.
• Please post all fic behind a cut with at least a title, rating, any applicable warnings, and a disclaimer. Fic can be locked to the comm or public, writer's choice.
• Please ensure all fic is properly formatted and preferrably beta'd. Until and unless we have a list of people willing to help with this, posts requesting beta help are welcome, just use the 'beta request' tag.
• Please tag every post, especially if it contains slash, so that people may avoid it if that's not their cup of tea. Just a reminder, though, slash is perfectly welcome, as is het and gen.

These rules are posted at the discretion of the moderators of this community and are subject to revision as we see fit. Any changes will be openly posted in the community so that everyone will be aware.
